I think the conversation with a Police officer will go like this.
Cop: I pulled you over because your front license plate is illegal.
Perp: Nah man, it is totally legal.
Cop:
Perp: It has my license numbers on it and says Oregon, is correctly sized and visible...
Cop:
Perp: Are you detaining me or am I free to go.?
Cop:
Perp: Are you detaining me or am I free to go?
Cop:
Perp: Aggg...I am a sovereign citizen...I AM A SOVEREIGN CITIZEN, I KNOW MY RIGHTS!!

Hey cool! My good friend made this video! Same C&C I go to every week. I don't believe they're legal.

I got pulled over for having the front plate on the dashboard of my car even though it was clearly visible through the windshield so I don't think that will fly.

Cop: it isn't reflective like a standard plate is. Why don't you go on ahead and step out of the car and place your hands behind your back....

My current favorite video on the internet is the video of that guy who blows the DUI checkpoint and refuses to roll down his window and the cops drag him out while he is shouting something about sovereign citizen. Mao Zedong is quoted as saying "All power comes from the barrel of a gun" and he was 99% correct.
